Mumuso (Alabang) haul: Part 2

Like the first haul, this one's unplanned as well. Decided to buy groceries from Ayala South Park and passed by Mumuso and everything else was a blur.
All for 645. Hydrating spray, shower gel, make up remover, soap, and loofah set.
I was hoping I'd be able to score some serums and oils but they were sold out when I visited. I absolutely needed a new make-up remover and a loofah, the rest I forgot what my train of thought was and why I bought them.

I absolutely love this. 1. Pump type, 2. Melts make up and dirt well, 3. Easy to wipe off, 4. Mild scent
Body wash that I assumed to be banana smelling but for some reason it smells like bubble gum.
It says horse oil soap. Can't remember why I bought it.
Loofah for libag.
I seriously thought this was a headband.
Hydrating spray. Thought it works like a facial mist but after spraying, the product was heavier than a mist.

Total damage was 645. Another thing I love about this store is the staff. They probably need more work on product knowledge, but they are so nice and helpful. I brought in my groceries and was gonna leave them on the side when the darn shopping bag broke and stuff starting rolling out on the floor. The male staff made no fuss and just helped me, didn't make me feel embarrassed or that he was hassled. He also let me leave my stuff in the store while I buy new shopping bags downstairs. Thank you sir!

Lifepack's Solar Powered & Anti-Theft Backpack review

I wasn't sure if I should put this here since the bag isn't exactly cheap, but since I got it for free here we are!

I don't remember the last time I owned a backpack. Or any bag that I bought using my own money at that. Anyway, we learned about this bag in kickstarter. I was not involved in the buying process but I was asked if I thought it was awesome. Slash proof? Comes with a lock? It has a power-bank? Of course it's awesome. We had to wait for several months for it to arrive though since it had to be shipped from the US.
Mine's the grey one

Solar power-bank slash blue-tooth included
Up close. This goes in the front part of the bag

It's super awesome and the features are well thought of. The ones I love the most are:

  1. Slash and water proof
  2. Lock system
  3. Many pockets, dividers
  4. Power-bank

I love it, super! However, there are some things I had issues with:

  1. Bulky power-bank. Though I've seen some clips where the new ones are way slimmer than what we got.
  2. Very little room for the usual stuff I carry around so the bag gets bulky.
  3. How do I clean it if it gets dirty? 'Cause there are wires inside.

These are very minor issues and the bag is still super duper awesome especially when I have to commute. I don't have to worry about losing stuff if I fall asleep in a bus. I remember some time in 2009, I was on my home from UP Diliman and just slept right away the moment my butt touched the seat on the bus. I woke up and the purple tote I was carrying was slashed from top to bottom. Good thing I had my phone and wallet in my pocket. I don't have to worry about getting my bag slashed anymore.

They have new designs if you're interested. The shoulder bag looks dope. I want one.

Etude's AC Clinic Daily Review

It all started when my boss gifted me the AC Clinic Facial Wash, together with Etude's lip tint, on my birthday. A few washes convinced me that I should get the other products of this line, thus the haul below.
AC Clinic Daily set + nail polish + shower cap + face mask + razor + free bb cushion
AC Clean Up (toner):
  • mild medicine scent
  • use twice daily on the face and neck

AC Clinic Daily Aqua Cream (moisturizer):
  • consistency is like those aloe gel creams
  • very soothing
  • with mild medicine scent
  • instantly moisturizes the skin
  • use after applying toner

AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot (spot treatment):
  • comes in two bottles (one pink, one white) and pointed q-tips
  • medicine scent may be stronger compared to the other products
  • DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLES
  • pink powder (for night treatment) - dip q-tips until you get the pink powder at the bottom. Apply directly to spots. Leaves pink marks.
  • white powder - same instructions but to be used during day time. Leaves white marks, never tried putting make-up or other products on top of it.

Bad photos I know.
This whole set costed me around 2, 000++ pesos I think. Did it do its job? When I started using, my face was erupting with blemishes and spots. While using the products, my face calmed down a little bit but I was expecting more. I was hoping that after several weeks of using these products, the marks will be gone and the redness will go away. Basically, I wanted it to make my skin clear.

Here's how bad my skin was:
These were taken in January, a month after using.
The swelling and redness did improve after a while but they were still very noticeable even after I've completely consumed the products. I used them generously and religiously, by the way.

Taken in February.
The whole set lasted for more than six months. I used them every single day without fail and I always use a liberal amount of each, especially the moisturizer. Mumuso's line surprisingly did a better job in clearing my skin and their products are way cheaper than Etude's!

Of course skin issues are different from one person to another. I'm not saying you shouldn't try this line, just wanted to share my experience.

Mumuso (Alabang) haul

So going back to Mumuso. Sinira nito ang budget ko for the week pero parang (sana!) sulit naman. Aliw na aliw ako sa pag-iikot. Bukod sa beauty products and make-up, may stuffed toys at ibang laruan, may mga kutsara pa nga, meron ding small electronics, may mga tumbler, may bags, may payong pa nga.

Anyway, here's what I got for 1,129 pesos!
face sponge, make-up remover, eye gel patch, facial cleanser, rose seed oil, serum, skin water, and a round brush
Favorite ko yung hair brush, facial sponge, eye mask, at make-up remover.
Parang naobliga ako mag blow-dry ng buhok lage dahil dito. 99 pesos.
Face sponge, 2 pieces with a case, 99 pesos.
Magic Make-up Remover Marine Minerals, 99 pesos.
Halos pareho ng consistency ng make-up remover ng Maybelline at Etude. Bet kasi walang amoy and in fairness hindi hassle gamitin.
Mumuso Black Pearl Gey Eye, 149 pesos.
First time ko gumamit nito.
My face is going through a terrible rebel phase right now and I was on the lookout for another product try after I finished my AC Clinic Daily set from Etude.

First of all, I have no idea ano ang skin water, kung para saan, at kung paano gamitin. Akala ko eto ang toner nila. Kaso pag bukas ko, ayun. Malabnaw na malabnaw na moisturizer pala sya.
Green Tea Essence Moisturizing Skin Water, 200ml, 199 pesos.
What I love about this: super light but my skin feels hydrated right away, very very light scent
Medyo may love-hate relationship ako with screw type lids or caps, so sana flip type na lang o pump.
Green Tea Extract Facial Cleanser, 149 pesos
It's light, doesn't sting, no scent, lathers pretty well.
Green Tea Seed Oil Perfection Serum, 120ml, 299 pesos
What I love about this: super light but my skin feels hydrated right away, very very light scent, pump type lid
Mumuso Rose Soothing Essential Oil, 30ml, 99 pesos.
This is probably my favorite among the moisturizers. It's super light but hydrates well. My skin looks dewy, not oily even though I've just slathered it with this oil. I love the subtle oil scent, too.
Most of the products have labels sa likod na English ang instructions and ingredients. Sana lang may translation din what the product is or what it's for. A lot of other bloggers and vloggers have been posting their hauls and reviews so you can check them out if you want to know more. I'm definitely going back to get masks and other beauty tools. May make-up din sila pero hindi muna ko interested since "detoxing" ang drama ng balat ko these days.

Anyway, naloka ako to find out na while Korean ang drama ng Mumuso, Chinese pala ang may-ari and the products are, guess what, made in China. Pero kahit ganon, the products are worth trying naman kasi cheap, maganda ang packaging for the price, madaming pagpipilian, most of the lines are complete (meaning merong cleanser, toner, iba't-ibang moisturizers from one line).

If you're from Alabang o malapit ka, now's the best time to visit this store kasi naka soft launch ang Ayala Mall kung asan tong Mumuso so konti pa lang namimili.

Heaven in CLN Starmall Alabang

Parang 300 to 600 eh bongga na.

EVERYDAY naka 50% off.
799 ata to o 899. Wore this for our Coachella themed party last December.
Stone grey flats for 499
Gold pumps for 599
Hello sa tyani ko. Lol.

Ukay-ukay 101: What to bring aside from patience and tyaga

Ukay-ukay 101: What to bring aside from patience and tyaga
So decided ka na to go ukay, pano na nga? Anong kailangan? Aside from patience and tyaga, you need:

  1. A purpose. Anong bibilhin mo? Para san? Christmas party? Outing? Eh ang daming damit! Nakaka-overwhelm. Kaya bago sumugod, more Pinterest muna ko for outfit inspirations.
Make sure lang sturdy ang bagels.
  6. Face mask. Lol.
  7. Alcohol o alcogel. For obvious reasons.
  8. Shopping buddy. OPTIONAL. Ako kasi mas preferred ko mag shop mag-isa. Mas efficient for me. Pero yung iba bet may tatanungan kung okay o hindi yung bet nila bilhin so bahala na kayo kung gusto nyo mag sama o what.
Happy hauling!
